Every Child is Creative
There’s no end to what children and young people can do with their creativity. It helps us express who we are, solve problems, have fun, and see the world in new ways.
In Ireland, every child has the right to play, to learn, to be safe, and to take part in art and culture. These rights are protected by Irish law and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
At Creative Ireland, we believe every young person is creative from the very beginning – full of ideas, questions, and unique ways of looking at things. One of the principles of Creative Ireland is broadening access to and participation in creative and cultural activities. When we support creativity, we help all young people to grow with confidence, curiosity, and joy.
