Nature Drawing & Painting Workshop
Creative Outdoor Art for Ages 12–16
Get inspired by the natural world in this exciting Nature Drawing & Painting workshop for teens aged 12–16! Taking place on Saturday, 7th June 2025, from 10:30am to 3:30pm, this fun and relaxed session combines outdoor exploration with studio creativity.
We’ll begin with a supervised walk along the nearby Ballinamore Greenway and park areas—completely traffic-free—where participants will gather natural materials like leaves, flowers, twigs and stones. Back in the studio, everyone will set up their own mini-nature displays to use as inspiration for drawing and painting.
With a focus on observation and imagination, we’ll experiment with different materials and techniques, encouraging young artists to engage all their senses to really connect with their surroundings. The result? A beautiful, personal artwork to take home and treasure!
All materials are provided. Please bring a packed lunch to enjoy during the break.
