Laser-Cutting Workshop at Dromahair Library

Join us at Dromahair Library for Cruinniú na nÓg 2025, a day packed with creativity, imagination and hands-on fun for young people!

From 10:00am to 2:00pm, take part in an exciting Laser Cutting Workshop with Leo Scarff from Fab Lab Maker Hub (makerhub.ie). This interactive session introduces participants to the world of digital design and laser technology in a fun and accessible way.

Young makers will have the chance to design, create and cut their own unique pieces using a real laser cutter. This workshop offers a brilliant blend of art, science and technology—perfect for curious minds who love to make and invent.

No experience is needed, and all materials will be provided. Participants will get to take home their custom creations at the end of the session.

Free event – suitable for ages 9+. Drop in any time between 10am and 2pm to get making , children to be accompanied by an adult at all times!
