Crafting Forest Friends @ Dromahair Library

Step into a Woodland Wonderland at Dromahair Library as we celebrate Cruinniú na nÓg 2025 — a national day of creativity for young people!

Children aged 5 to 8 are invited to join artist Sarah O’Keeffe for a magical creative workshop from 10:00am to 11:00am, where they’ll help bring a woodland scene to life by making their very own forest friends. Using a mix of materials, colours and plenty of imagination, participants will design playful characters to live in and around our special story tree.

This fun, hands-on session encourages children to explore their creativity, connect with nature through art and contribute to a collaborative piece that will grow throughout the day.

Whether your child loves drawing, crafting, or simply making up stories, this workshop is a perfect way to spark their imagination in a relaxed and welcoming space.

Free event – all materials provided. Spaces are limited, so early arrival is recommended!
