Gamelan Performance and Workshop

Ages 10-15

A performance of Indonesian Gamelan music with shadow puppetry and the opportunity for attendees to learn to play the Gamelan for themselves. Gamelan is a traditional Indonesian orchestral music ensemble characterized by its distinctive sound, primarily produced by percussive instruments like gongs, metallophones and xylophones.
