Youth Theatre Ireland presents, Youth Theatre Island!

In partnership with Theatre and Dance NI, we are bringing 4 youth theatres from across the island to perform at Bright Umbrella on June 7 th , Cruinniú na nÓg, 2025.  The youth theatres performing in Belfast will be: Brassneck Youth Theatre, Craic Youth Theatre, Co. Tyrone, M.A.D. Youth Theatre, Co. Louth, and Dublin Youth Theatre. The show will last around one hour and each youth theatre will perform for 10-15 minutes each. These plays have been devised or written for and by young performers!
The age range for these performances is 12+ and is a great chance to see what youth theatre is all about.

After each performance, we will run a Youth Theatre taster workshop for any young person aged 12-18 who is currently not in a youth theatre or involved in the creative arts. Check out the workshop event page for more information!

Youth Theatre gives young people a safe space to express themselves, be heard, be who they are, make new friends, and most importantly have fun!
