Carlow County Museum, with Create School, have worked with a 4th class in both Askea Boys National School and Askea Girls National School, to produce Series 3 of the Curious Carlow Podcast. The podcast already features an array of short episodes on Carlow’s history and are free to listen to online, at any time. This podcasting project is designed to engage primary school students in digital storytelling, while fostering connections with the older generation of Carlow. The students explored storytelling through the medium of podcasting, enhancing students’ communication and creative thinking. This is an intergenerational project where our young historians interview a variety of people about their lives.
