Courthouse Gallery and Studios Young Filmmakers Festival

Want to make a film and see it on the big screen? Join filmmaker Alfie Hollingsworth for a hands-on series of three workshop where young people will learn camera skills, sound, directing and visual storytelling, then work together to create a short film of their own. No experience needed, just curiosity, ideas and a willingness to give it a go. The project finishes with a special public screening at The Courthouse Gallery & Studios on Cruinniú na nÓg day, where the finished film will be shown in a cinema-style setting. This is a chance to get behind the camera, try out real filmmaking processes and be part of a fun, creative group project from first idea to final screen.
