Raise Your Spear with Dani Gill

Join artist and writer Dani Gill for a writing and making workshop based on the themes of identity and allyship as part of Cruinniú na nÓg 2026.

Participants will customise their own spear with ribbon, tape, words and accessories, as well as take part in writing and discussion about who we are, how we see ourselves, and how we see each other.

Dani Gill will also install a specifically designed spear installation in the foyer at Mermaid on the 6th June as part of Cruinniú na nÓg. This will remain in situ throughout the month of June.

Limited capacity tickets are free and must be booked in advance on mermaidartscentre.ie
