Lantern Making

Workshop

Come and take part in a willow lantern making workshop and learn techniques to create large scale lanterns, puppets and props for outdoor spectacles!

In this workshop you will create a willow structure, learn how willow bends and changes with manipulation and soaking. After creating your own design, bending and shaping the willow we will cover the lantern in paper and add lights to illuminate them.
