Afro-Céilí: Diaspora Creativity Day

Afro‑Céilí is a free, hands-on creative experience for children and young people celebrating African and Irish culture through music, movement and shared creativity.

Over two lively days, children, young people are invited to take part in interactive drumming, dance and rhythm workshops, blending Afro and Céilí traditions in a fun, welcoming outdoor setting. The focus is on participation, creativity and cultural exchange, supporting children to explore new art forms, express themselves and celebrate diversity together.

This is an outdoor event — please wear weather-appropriate clothing
Wear comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting paint on!
Bring a water bottle and snacks if needed
Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian
