Draw, Paint ,Create!

Come to the National Museum at Turlough Park for a creative day making a painting of your favourite teddy bear or cuddly toy.

Taking inspiration from the museum’s exhibitions of toys from history, children aged 5 to 8 years and parents will explore ideas of observation and creativity through art. The focus is on enjoying the process of making, using familiar and well-loved toys as a starting point for imagination and expression.

Each child will create their own small painting through this hands-on and supportive process. The finished artworks will come together as a pop-up display in the museum, celebrating the creativity of every participant.

Join the fun, get making, and come be part of Cruinniú na nÓg.
