Art Well Space for Tweens and Teens, gives participants the opportunity to carve out some quiet space for themselves to let their creativity unfurl, be inspired, and connect with others in a peaceful and tranquil environment.

This workshop aims to bring teenagers together to give them the opportunity to slow down and express themselves both creatively and anatomically using bilateral mirror drawing techniques as their muse. 

We will also look at contemporary artist who use bilateral drawing in their work. Looking at line or shape dominance in the work. 

We will use drama ice breaker games and pair work to tease out new ideas, which will inform and inspire their finished abstract designs. 

This workshop brings the young person on a creative journey into calmness using play, focus, communication and art. All art has a habit of bringing about a sense of wellbeing and calm to a busy mind. 

The creative process in this project is to make abstract designs using bilateral movements unique to each participant, turning our body’s habitual movement into art. 

The session will last for 2.5 hours.
