Calling up Berba on the River Barrow

Young people aged 10–18 can kick off part one of a two‑day eco‑creative adventure for Cruinniú na nÓg with an intergenerational ethical‑foraging walk, gathering natural materials for making their own inks and paints, sketching outdoors, sharing stories inspired by indigenous knowledge, climate awareness, local folklore and the River Barrow, and beginning a collaborative canvas—all during a relaxed half‑day outing at Glenbarrow Walk, complete with a picnic and plenty of hands‑on creativity.
