This vibrant youth-led evening brings together young performers aged 13–18 from across County Louth to present original work developed through a series of artist-led workshops and mentoring. Participants have created performances spanning live music, spoken word, poetry and comedy. 

The showcase features emerging young artists from County Louth, including Sorcha Bulman, Connor McKenna, Myah O’Grady, Annabelle McGovern, Grace Looney, Delilah Humphries and Sophia Xu, highlighting the creativity, confidence and talent of the next generation.

Set in a professional theatre environment, the event offers a unique opportunity for young people to take centre stage, while demonstrating how inclusive, alcohol-free night-time cultural spaces can support youth creativity and expression. 

The Twilight Takeover is a youth-led evening showcase at Droichead Arts Centre, taking place as part of Cruinniú na nÓg Louth, the national day of free creativity for children and young people, and is presented in conjunction with Louth’s Night Time Economy programme and Droichead Arts Centre.

The event commences at 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 6th.
