Songs for Children in the Traditional Style

Workshop

Children can jump into a lively Cruinniú na nÓg workshop led by a Traditional Singer and Folklore Collector, where they learn how to create their own traditional style songs while joining in a fun repertoire of bilingual tunes taken from a special songbook made by her and available to borrow in all Co. Wexford Libraries.

Young participants will then design their own handwritten and illustrated songbooks, turning stories, language and imagination into colourful artwork that reflects their ideas and voices, and these finished creations will be proudly exhibited i Leabharlann Ghuaire. Bígí linn!
