24-Hour Play Extravaganza with The Rabbit’s Riot Theatre Company

Get ready for a whirlwind of creativity! The Rabbit’s Riot Theatre Company is thrilled to present the 24-Hour Play Extravaganza, an exciting theatre project for young people aged 13 to 18.

Over just 24 hours, participants will write, design, direct and perform a series of short plays—created entirely from scratch! Taking place at The Glens Centre, this immersive experience is supported by a fantastic creative team including playwright Treasa Nealon, director Sonia Norris, designer Niamh O’Brien and technical designer Caroline Norris.

Together, young artists will explore powerful themes like the environment, climate change and the future of our planet, turning ideas into performance in just one day.

The final plays will be showcased in a public performance at 1pm on June 7th as part of Cruinniú na nÓg 2025.
