Sparkcatchers! Present: Any News? – 6pm

Sparkcatchers! artists Jojo Hynes & Midie Corcoran have collaborated with their Creative Youth Committee (CYC) to present ‘Any News?’.

A live Retro Magazine TV-style show hosted by teenagers featuring filmed interviews, visuals, music, poetry, photographs and digital art. This fun experimental event is both authentic and punk.

The Sparkcatchers! CYC created ‘Any News?’ to amplify youth voices, in response to the current era of fake news, creating a snapshot of teenage culture in Tuam. Members of the public will become the ‘Live Studio Audience’, which allows for spontaneity and humour through the collection of last minute local community news.

There will be 2 presentations of the 40-minute show at 4:30pm & 6pm
