Art Space

  • Workshop

Come join the Art Space artists and help to create a large public artwork!

Art Space is a Glucksman project, designed to amplify the voices of young people who are experiencing homelessness and to showcase their creativity in the public realm.

This Spring, under the guidance of artists Seiko Hayase and Peter Nash, children aged 6-12 years, who are supported by Good Shepherd Cork, have been creating a large-scale artwork that will be exhibited at venues across Cork City this summer. For Cruinniú na nÓg, the Art Space artwork will be unveiled at the Glucksman. We are inviting children aged 5-12 years to visit the museum and to partake in a creative workshop, where they will meet the young Art Space artists, learn about printmaking and drawing processes, and even have their own creative work added to the public display.
