Arts & Crafts Market

For Cruinniú na nÓg 2025, Youth Work Ireland Galway (YWIG) Loughrea will host a Mini Arts and Crafts Market.  Stalls will include the following:

  • Fresh flower posy-making
  • Geranium pot-planting
  • Badge-Making
  • Bee Bath-making
  • Mindful colouring
  • Lego mazes and hexbugs races
  • Photobooth
  • Treat cart 

Junior members of our youth groups, aged 10–12 years, will be invited to attend and the centre will be set up by senior members and workers in a market style.  The centre is a safe and sensory-appropriate space that our youth centre offers these young people each week.  

These activities will be both enjoyable and fun.  They are intended to provide seldom-heard young people with opportunities to participate in their local community and to be able to access creative opportunities. 

This activity will target young people aged 10-12 years and will include young autistic people/young people, who may be experiencing social isolation, due to their familial situations.
