Butter Stories with Maria Gillen

  • Reading

Butter has been part of Irish culture for thousands of years. The oldest butter in Ireland is 4500 years old! Join us at The Butter Museum to hear ancient stories of cows, butter and the butter roads that wend their way from the countryside all around into the heart of Cork city.

Thanks to Cork City Council for support.

We will take photographs during the event. There is on street parking in Shandon and we sell parking discs. O’Connell Square and The Butter Museum are wheelchair accessible. You can use the social story on our website to plan visits with neurodiverse children.
