Can You Dig It? Archaeological Dig With Blackfriary Archaeology

Get your hands dirty and uncover the past with Blackfriary Archaeology at a special Cruinniú na nÓg event in County Museum Dundalk! This hands-on experience invites children aged 5 to 11 to become mini archaeologists for the day.

Young explorers will have the exciting opportunity to dig for artefacts, learn how real archaeologists uncover history, and discover fascinating stories hidden beneath our feet. Guided by the expert team from Blackfriary Archaeology, kids will explore ancient tools, techniques, and treasures in a fun and engaging way.
