Children’s Books of Mayo Map

Join us for a fun-filled day celebrating children’s books and creativity at the launch of the Children’s Books of Mayo Map on June 7th at the National Museum of Ireland, Turlough House!

This special event will be packed with activities for children, including art workshops with talented illustrators, interactive readings from local authors, and outdoor activities. Children will have the chance to get hands-on with creative activities that spark their imagination, all while exploring the world of children’s books inspired by Mayo.

Whether your little ones are budding artists or young readers, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. It’s a day dedicated to fostering creativity, storytelling and a love of books. 

The Children’s Books of Mayo Map is an initiative of Mayo County Library and Mayo County Council’s Culture & Creativity Team. The project wouldn’t be possible without the support of the local authors, illustrators, publishers, bookshops, and the National Museum team.
