Connection through Sign Language

  • Performance

To celebrate Cruinniú na nÓg, as an inclusive festival for all, children from three schools near Tipperary Town will participate in workshops learning Irish Sign Language in a fun way through signed music, games and movement.

On Cruinniú na nÓg Day, all are invited to Tipperary Town Library, for a celebration, where the children will perform a piece through sign.

This initiative is part of a project “Sign up for ISL”, which comprises of new and innovative ideas, to support ways to grow and foster ISL literacy skills, in a way that will enable an entire minority group of Deaf people to engage in everyday life in their community.
