Creative Legends’ Art Workshop

Join Us for Cruinniú na nÓg at Kilkee Community Centre!
Saturday, June 7th, 2025 | 12:00–3:00pm

Celebrate creativity and culture at this year’s Cruinniú na nÓg event in Kilkee! Head to Kilkee Community Centre for an exciting afternoon of art workshops where you’ll learn how to create your own illustrations and experiment with watercolours to make vibrant, eye-catching paintings. Who knows—you might even be inspired to use your artwork in your own storybook!

Workshop Schedule:

  • 12:00–1:30pm: Illustration Workshop
  • 1:30–3:00pm: Watercolour Painting

These workshops are open to young people aged 10–18, and all skill levels are welcome.

But that’s not all! As part of the Cruinniú na nÓg celebrations, young people from the Clare Youth Service Kilkee Integration Project have created a stunning illustrated book featuring Ukrainian stories, myths, and legends. These tales have been lovingly translated into English to share with their peers in Clare.

This inspiring collection of work will be on display throughout the event—so come along, get creative, and enjoy a rich cultural experience that’s perfect for the whole family.
