Join Róisín for an Inspiring Workshop at the Cruinniú Festival!

Age Group: 14-16

We are excited to invite young people aged 14-16 to a dynamic and engaging workshop, led by award-winning poet and playwright, Róisín. This workshop is designed to spark creativity and encourage participants to explore their imagination through creative dance as Gaeilge.

About Róisín:

• Acclaimed Writer: Róisín’s debut poetry collection, Líomóidí ‘s Rúbarb, and her play, Snámh na Saoirse, have received prestigious awards, including Oireachtas na Gaeilge and the Stewart Parker Trust award.
• Experienced Educator: With a background as a secondary school teacher, Róisín has facilitated numerous writing and drama workshops for students.
• Creative Facilitator: Currently, she runs poetry and dance workshops as Gaeilge for adults, funded by Creative Ireland and the Irish Writers Centre.

Workshop Highlights:

• Courageous Expression: Learn to dance with confidence and courage, drawing inspiration from Róisín and your peers.
• Creative Movement: Experience the joy of creative dance, guided by Róisín, a qualified Laban Creative Dance facilitator.

This workshop is a fantastic opportunity for young people to develop their dance skills, connect with peers and express themselves creatively, whilst engaging in Irish in a creative way.
