Day of Creativity with YWIG Tuam

On Saturday 7th June, Youth Work Ireland Galway (YWIG) Tuam will host a full day of workshops for 10–12-year-olds and 13–18-year-olds in our youth centre. 

The day will consist of  a variety of different activities, including cupcake-decorating, shrink-wrap key-ring design, jewellery-making, karaoke, dancing, games and a workshop with an arts facilitator. 

Attendees will swap over workshops, for example, some will be cupcake-decorating with a youth worker, while another takes part in the art workshop, so they can be involved in all the activities. This will ensure it is fun and engaging throughout.

A note from YWIG Tuam:

We want to make this a community event to ensure all young people in our community feel included and welcome into our youth space. By providing a broad range of activities it will hopefully encourage a greater number of young people to get involved. All young people will need to be registered with the youth project in advance for child protection and health and safety reasons. Any new young people that come along, we hope will join our youth service for other activities, hence broadening our scope of young people receiving a service with us.
