This day of drama workshops will introduce young people to theatre in a fun and friendly way focusing on fostering creative confidence in drama students.

Who: 20 participants aged 11-15 years, no experience necessary
Where: Straffan Community Hall, Co Kildare, W23V294
When: Saturday June 6th – morning session 11am-1pm, afternoon session 2-4pm

Introduction to Drama – Morning
The kids will explore how to express ideas using their voices, bodies, and creativity. Through collaborative activities, they’ll learn how to communicate confidently, listen actively, and support one another in a safe and encouraging environment. No experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to give things a go.

Developing Collaborative Storytelling – Afternoon
Working together in small groups, everyone will have the chance to contribute to short scenes and playful improvisations, discovering how theatre can spark ideas, boost confidence, and build friendships, leaving the workshop with new skills, new stories, and maybe even a newfound love of performing.
