For Cruinniú na nÓg 2025, the Headford and District Association will organize a day of engaging drumming workshops, in collaboration with Drumadore, Ireland’s leading group drumming-provider. These workshops will be delivered by Drumadore’s experienced instructors and will provide children and young people with a unique hands-on creative experience in rhythm and music.
Drumming workshops are an excellent way to encourage teamwork, self-expression and confidence-building. These sessions will be interactive and inclusive, allowing participants to experiment with rhythm, coordination, and group performance in a fun and structured environment. By hosting this event, we aim to provide a dynamic and enriching artistic experience for young people in our community.
Where possible, Irish language elements will be incorporated into the workshops, including basic drumming terminology and encouraging bilingual interaction.
This session is aimed at 13 to 18 year olds and will take place at 5:20 pm
