Energy Explorers

  • Workshop

Celebrate Cruinniú na nÓg with the team from the CRAFT Maker Space in Mary Immaculate College Limerick at the Kilrush Library, as we explore all about energy. Engage in hands-on STEM activities that highlight renewable energy and sustainable practices. This drop-in session is designed for children and parents to explore, create and learn together in a fun environment.  Discover the science behind wind energy, by designing and creating your own mini-wind turbine. Unleash your inner scientist by making simple batteries, using everyday materials. Participate in engaging experiments that demonstrate different forms of energy, from solar power to kinetic energy. Use your imagination to design and build innovative energy-related projects that would make a positive impact on our world.

This workshop is open to all ages and fosters creativity, curiosity, and collaboration among young people and their families.

Join us for a day of discovery, creativity, and fun. Let’s power up our imaginations and explore the exciting world of energy together!
