Filleadh ar an Nádúr!

  • Workshop

This nature-themed event will include the creation of bug hotels, planting of wild flower seeds, talk on Irish wildlife, original storytelling and art & craft. The workshop emphasises the importance of conserving nature and children will learn about pollinators, habitats and ecosystems. Taxidermy and displays of wildlife will be on view. All carried out by local artist Patricia King-Callaghan.

As this event is taking place in a Gaelscoil, all efforts will be made to utilise the Irish language, wherever possible. This event is bilingual but children are encouraged to use their Irish as much as they feel comfortable. Non-Irish-speaking children are, of course, also welcome.

The event is for all school aged children 5 and up.

No booking required as this is a drop-in session running from 13:00-16:00
