Filmmaking: Storytelling Techniques for Creating on the Big Screen – Leah O’Toole

  • Workshop

In this workshop, children will explore the exciting world of storytelling through a series of creative activities. 

They will begin by brainstorming and developing a unique story, learning key storytelling principles along the way. The workshop will guide participants in creating compelling characters. They will also learn about dialogue and action description in scriptwriting. Finally, kids will discover the power of visual storytelling by storyboarding their stories, experimenting with shot types, and learning techniques like close-ups and panning to enhance their narratives. Ages 8-12
