Foroige’s Create Together Fest 2025 has been designed exclusively for children from their early intervention project.  Over a number of months the children will create their own puppets and stories leading to a performance for their families and local community on June 7th . 

The children will Two x 2 hour workshops during the children Easter break with Garbo productions in which the children will create the puppets and develop their characters. 

Following this there will be four x 1 hour weekly spoken word workshops with NOISE in which the children will develop the story they want their puppets to tell. Both of these elements will then be brought together with the support of the facilitators.

Alongside this the children will work on a photography workshop which will create a background narrative for their characters . This will allow children who are less comfortable performing to be involved in bringing the show together. All of the children involved will then take part in a Cricut workshop where they will design and print t-shirts and hats to wear on the day of the performance.

On June 7th the children will invite their families and other important people in their lives to come and see their performance and to celebrate their work. This  two hour event will be held in Brookfield Community Centre where the families and other important people in the children’s lives will come and see their performance and celebrate their work.
