Free Bird – Art Workshop with Olga Duka

Join artist Olga Duka for a fun-filled art workshop with a feathery twist! Participants will create their very own unique and colourful birds, using recycled materials, everyday household items, paper and fabric. This workshop encourages creativity, sustainability and the joy of crafting something extraordinary from the ordinary.  

Through guided activities, children will explore how to repurpose materials like plastic and paper caps, egg cartons, cardboard, fabric scraps and more, into whimsical bird sculptures. They’ll learn about the importance of recycling, while expressing their artistic flair.  

Perfect for young makers with big imaginations, this workshop will leave each child with a fantastic bird creation to take home and a newfound appreciation for reimagining waste as art.
