Georgian Vintage-Inspired Fashion Show

The Irish Georgian Cultural School “Mrtsamsi,” based in Scoil Bhríde, Shantalla, invites you to a 1940s-inspired vintage fashion show celebrating Irish and Georgian heritage. This creative project engages teenagers and young adults in designing dresses, accessories, and performances that reflect historical fashion and traditions. It aims to strengthen their connection to culture, while encouraging social interaction, creativity, and mental well-being—away from screens. The event will feature student-made designs, folk elements and traditional dance. Open to all nationalities, it’s a vibrant reminder of the value of history and unity through art, fashion and shared cultural experiences in modern-day Galway.
