Gliondar Festival Day at Athenry Heritage Centre

Performance

Following on from the success of last year’s celebrations, this year Gliondar will once again take over the Athenry Heritage Centre with a full day of workshops, activities, and celebrating creativity.

This will be an event for the whole family with a variety of events to suit all ages. There will be balloon twisting, spoken word workshops, and in the evening the stage will be set for local youth bands and DJ’s to take to the stage.

12-2pm: Balloon Modelling workshop with Liz Jacob of Party FX, suitable for over 8 yrs
2pm: Decorating the Garden
Giant Puppet play with Kelsey
4-6pm: Scratching the surface poetry workshop 4-6 pm with writer Kathryn Petruccelli
7:30pm til late: Young Musicians & DJ share their work in a music filled evening (Suitable for over 14 yrs)
