Saturday 6th of June is Cruinniú na nÓg day, the sky will become full of colour across Carlow as the Let’s Go Fly Your Kite workshop will be a hands-on journey from imagination to flight. It will begin with tracing your Kite Design, carefully following patterns that spark creativity. Then comes the colouring, bringing it to life with bold shades, playful patterns, and personal flair that makes each kite unique. 

Next, you will build your masterpiece, assemble the frame and attach the string, watching your creation take shape, piece by piece. With guidance and a bit of patience, what starts as a simple outline, will transform into something ready to fly. 

Finally the most exciting moment will arrive-lifting your kite into the air. As it catches the wind and rises, there will be a real sense of pride. it wont just be about flying a kite, but about creating, building and watching your own masterpiece. Come and be part of something special that you will remember forever, and you’ll have your own take-home kite to continue the magic of flight.
