Hear my Voice! Scat Singing Workshop

This workshop will offer the opportunity to participate in Scat-style Jazz improvisation.

‘Scat’ is a style of improvisation from the Jazz tradition, it is a freeing beautiful practice that’s accessible to everyone. Facilitator Rebecca Ruane will start with a brief overview of the history and some examples of the practice and then facilitate an improv circle, where participants can try out this fun music style, and build upon that together as a group.
