Ice Cream Dreams – A Creative Art Workshop

Join us for a fun and flavourful art workshop as part of Cruinniú na nÓg 2025, with artist Athena Brownrigg.

In this hands-on, imaginative session, children aged 7–12, will create their very own ice cream-inspired mixed-media paintings. From classic scoops to wild and wonderful toppings, each child will design a piece that’s as unique and colourful as their own imagination.

“We’ll explore painting techniques, texture and playful design, as children mix and match “flavours,” experiment with materials and celebrate their creativity on canvas”, says facilitator Athena Brownrigg.

All materials are provided, and no experience is needed—just bring your imagination and a love for all things sweet!
