Life-Size Self-Portraits

  • Workshop

For this workshop, the children will join artist Louise O’Boyle, to experiment making life-size self-portraits. 

They will be mapping their experience and tracing a body map, to create a life-size self-portrait. This will be an opportunity for children to develop a sense of achievement and expression through creation.

Each child will be invited to create their own life-sized drawing and personalize it in a way that best describes the true superhero that they are.

This will be an opportunity for all children to explore their creativity, curiosity, cooperation, confidence and persistence. This exercise will contribute to enhancing their well-being. 

This 2-hour workshop is aimed at children aged 7-10 and will be held in the Milltown Old School/Day Care Centre.
