Loud at the Library: Feel the Beat workshops

  • Workshop

Feel the Beat, exploratory sound workshops designed to bring music to life for d/Deaf and CODA children. Ages 7 – 12  facilitated by violinist Jane Hackett and circus artist Olivier Dietrich at Lucan Library.

The workshops will open with a demonstrative and performative overview from both facilitators, combining physical movement with live violin-playing. Each exploratory musical ‘station’ will have particular tactile and sensory elements for the children to feel the music through.

An ISL interpreter present for the workshops.
