Mini-Dig with the Irish School of Archaeology – Kiltyclogher Library

As part of this year’s Cruinniú na nÓg celebrations, the Irish School of Archaeology is coming to Kiltyclogher Library for an exciting, hands-on archaeological experience!

Join us on the day for a Mini-Dig Excavation from 11:00am to 12:30pm, where young explorers will step into the shoes of real archaeologists. Children will have the chance to take part in a simulated excavation, uncover ancient artefacts, and learn about Ireland’s rich history in a fun and interactive way.

This engaging workshop offers a fantastic introduction to archaeology and the science of the past, encouraging curiosity, discovery and teamwork. All materials are provided and no prior experience is needed — just bring your imagination!

Free event – all welcome! Spaces may be limited, so early arrival is recommended.
