Miniature Worlds at Cork City Libraries

  • Reading

This year for Cruinniú na nÓg, join us at the City Library for a magical workshop in collaboration with Crawford Art Gallery!

Have you ever wondered what it would look like if you could shrink the world down small enough to fit inside a matchbox? In this creative and hands-on workshop, we’ll explore just that! Drawing inspiration from beloved books like The Borrowers and the miniature, mystical artworks in the gallery collection, we’ll embark on a journey to create our very own tiny worlds.

This workshop combines art, storytelling, and imagination to bring to life the extraordinary in the smallest of spaces. Whether you’re a budding artist or a storyteller at heart, this event will spark your creativity and allow you to build your own magical miniature world.

Come and see the world from a whole new perspective – all in the palm of your hand!

All materials provided.  Children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian for duration of workshop.

Booking essential.
