Limerick Printmakers (LP) will be welcoming young people aged 6 – 16 years to experiment with silkscreen printing by layering patterns, symbols, text, & shapes to create their one-of-a-kind designs to take home & display – the more unique and random the better!
Printmaking offers both a creative outlet and provides an opportunity to bring people together to share ideas, or simply collectively create in a supportive atmosphere.
Print is a vibrant and exciting form of self-expression that encompasses many techniques and approaches.
Our Quiet Hour is ideal for any children & young people, who may, for any reason benefit from a calmer, less crowded environment.
Limerick Printmakers Quiet Hour –
- Limited numbers with pre-booking essential
- No/ low artificial lighting
- No music
- A calm environment with more time with facilitators
- A parent/ guardian/ support person is welcome to join the child or young person if preferred
- Facilitator can print with or on behalf of workshop participants
