Music Generation x Garageland Galaxyz Youth Collaboration Project

Young musicians from Mullingar Music Jam and Athlone Youth Orchestra will unite for performances at Garageland Galaxyz, showcasing diverse musical talent and creativity. The programme features solo acts, small bands, and ensembles across genres from blues to rock, highlighting collaboration, confidence, and the vibrant energy of emerging young performers today.

The Mullingar Music Jam programme, in partnership with Youth Work Ireland Midlands, provides an inclusive, creative environment for young people in Mullingar and surrounding areas to develop musical skills, confidence, and collaboration. Delivered in partnership with a local youth group, the project ensures meaningful youth participation throughout.

Young musicians from Athlone Youth Orchestra will collaborate with participants to create a dynamic repertoire spanning big band, pop, and rock. In preparation for Garageland Galaxyz Cruinniú na nÓg, participants will engage in intensive rehearsals led by experienced educators, focusing on performance, ensemble skills, creativity, and stagecraft.
