My Imaginary World (9-12years)

Design, build, and bring your ideas to life.

In this 1.5-hour creative workshop with artist Bernadette Tuite, children aged 9–12 will explore how to turn ideas into artwork by designing a detailed imaginary world, from futuristic cities and dream landscapes to abstract or invented places.

Working with drawing, layered collage, colour, and textured materials, participants will experiment with composition, balance, pattern, contrast, and visual storytelling. They’ll learn how to build depth through layering and how artists use materials and arrangement to communicate ideas and atmosphere.

This session encourages creative thinking, experimentation, and personal expression in a supportive and open environment. Suitable for all skill levels whether you love art already or just want to try something new.
