Pottery Jam

  • Workshop

The workshop will consist of basic ceramic hand-building techniques with Westmeath ceramicist, Stephanie Mc Guinness.

Participants will use terracotta clay, to create two pieces. The first piece will be a simple small bowl, using the pinch technique. The second piece will be a creative piece of the participant’s choice, for example, a plate, a tile or a sculpture using slab building techniques. The participants will also be shown how to decorate these pieces with 3 dimensional additions. 

These pieces will then be fired and glazed. There will be a day allocated, when the pieces will be available for pick-up 3 weeks after the workshop.

This event will take place at 10am and 12pm. The event operates on a first-come-first served basis and there is a maximum of 20 spaces available. Please phone Stephanie on 0833861740 or email info@superlinea.eu for more information.
