With the support of Creative Ireland, Mayo County Council’s Arts Office is delivering a dynamic programme of professional development opportunities throughout the year. This programme is aimed at artists who are interested in socially engaged work, contributing to broader cultural activities, or leading interdisciplinary and collaborative projects.

Building the skills and experience to work in these contexts takes time, and the Arts Office provides a variety of supports. Through on-off trainings, mentorship, and networking, artists can strengthen their practice and gain the confidence to take part in community-focused and multi-disciplinary projects. 

In 2026, the programme will continue to grow, ensuring that artists in Mayo have access to the resources they need to expand their creative horizons.
