Events

This drop-in event will feature a range of engaging, hands-on creative activities designed for different age groups, encouraging exploration through art, creativity and self-expression.

For children aged 4–12, The Arty Fox will deliver a vibrant portrait themed workshop with interactive stations. Activities include creating self portraits with various materials, paintings  inspired by styling mannequins and constructing imaginative cardboard faces using mixed materials such as fabric and paint.

For young people aged 12–18, Graffiti artists Peaball will deliver a contemporary, graffiti-focused art workshop adapted for an indoor setting. Participants will explore bold design, lettering and visual expression through accessible materials, encouraging individuality and creative expression.

In addition, the RCC Mini Cinema will run throughout the day in Studio 2, screening a curated loop of animated short films. This relaxed, drop in space offers a quieter creative experience, allowing children and families to come and go freely throughout the day.

Together, these elements will create a dynamic, inclusive creative hub within the RCC for the day.
