Ring design workshop

Marie-Therese Walker from MTW Jewellery is delighted to host a “Carve your Own Wax Ring” workshop to celebrate Cruinniú na nÓg. 

Each participant will carve a ring from wax. They will learn how to measure and make their correct finger size, how to shape wax, add texture and pattern and how to use goldsmithing tools such as files and saws. The wax rings will be sent to casters to be cast in Sterling Silver. After they have been sanded and polished the participants can collect them to wear and treasure. 

This free workshop takes place at MTW Jewellery, 1st Floor, 20 Kenyon St. Nenagh. E45XN80. Saturday 7th June 9.30am-12.00. Participants limited so book early to avoid disappointment. 

Suitable for ages 13 – 18

Photography/videography may be taken on the day.
